Automania is a completely different concept to the norm, we have taken all the bits that we like from car shows all around the world and have combined it to create what we believe is the premiere automotive event on offer in New Zealand.

Whether its Japanese sports cars, v8 muscle, hot rods, purpose built race cars, tyre frying smoke machines (drift cars) right the way through to classic and scratch built cars there is something on offer for everyone!

While the event is a large scale car show there is also a mountain of entertainment for the spectators and competitors to get involved in. The upcoming Automania 2014 will host some incredible attractions such as a live action arena featuring some of the country’s took drift drivers putting on an exhibition of their skills. The coveted ‘car in hell’ display will be sure to impress, last year the car was completely destroyed beyond all recognition!

Now we all love a good bite to eat.. As part of this years event we have introduced the ‘festival of food’ which will encompass many different cuisines from all around the world! Once again the strongman and workout zone is back with the famous ‘truck pull’ available for you to watch or if you are feeling strong you can also take part. New Zealand’s biggest bikini car wash is back, be sure to bring your car along for a wash!!

Live entertainment in the form of DJ’s, bands and performers will keep you wondering what is next.? The trade alley will showcase some of the best products and services available on offer both in the automotive field and beyond. Our good friends from NZ IPW will be putting on a show inside the events centre featuring some of the best wrestling that New Zealand has to offer! Also featuring in the very same ring will be a lived demonstration of the art of the 9 limbs (muai Thai kickboxing) the ultra sexy miss bikini Automania is back once again with all those lovely ladies strutting their stuff up on stage!

That said there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy, best of all the entry fee for spectators is NOTHING. Competitors will know by now that there is a very very lucrative prize pool up for grabs, and once again the entry fees for the show will be kept to a minimum.

♫ Stanton Warriors (UK) ♫

Stanton Warriors are the breakbeat duo Dominic Butler and Mark Yardley.
They are aDJ and producer team. Originally from the West Country, the pair now play sets at nightclubs such asFabric and Ciros in the UK, and travel the globe with international work in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. 

Their name was taken from a hexagonal shaped manhole cover, made by Stanton Ironworks, based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire which seemed fitting with their style of underground, cutting edge music. The name is also a reference to Stanton DJ products.

The Stanton Warriors' third mix album was released in the UK on 27 October 2008, entitled Stanton Session Vol. 3, which is their best seller to date, and received 5 out of 5 from iDJ. This was also released in a limited run, deluxe edition manhole cover tin pack.

The graffiti style artwork, (and their SW logo) seen on many of their releases and merchandise, is the work of several renowned graffiti artists, SheOne and Rough, the latter of which won a design award for the artwork on the Stanton Warrior's single, "Da Antidote".

The Stantons have been known to release free to download promotional DJ sets through their websites, where there is also live video footage of their gigs. Now based in West London, they run a successful record label (Punks) out of their recording studio.

Famous for their World Wide renowned “Stanton Sessions” the Stantons live act is something to Marvel smashing out a fusion of Classics to Currents, Old to New with flavours from their Albums raning from the Headz of State EP (1997) through to the lastest “The Warriors” Album.

Not only producing some of the biggest tunes in Electronic music genre the Staton Warriors have a remix arsenal that would make almost anyone jealous remixing tunes for the likes of Gorillaz to Daft Punk, Azzido Da Bass to Bassment Jaxx, Booka Shade to Mylo, The Chemical Brothers to Jay Z and Kanye West (You get the point lol) they have etched their names into the Electronic music history archives.

- With a decade of experience behind him in the music industry, Optimus Gryme is one of New Zealand's leading Dubstep artists.

Representing Waiheke Island, Gryme runs Optmus Gryme Recordings and Aotearoa Dubstep All-Stars.

Through his massively downloaded Slam & Groove free DJ mix series, Gryme has become one of the most in-demand local Dubstep DJs. Outside of his solo music, he has collaborated with Shapeshifter, Shihad, Minuit, Dub FX (AUS), Antiserum (USA) and Tiki Taane.

Rather than looking overseas for approval, Gryme breaks trends. Having built his audience from here to abroad, his movement is as solid as a subwoofer.

News update: AutoMania

We have now confirmed over 80 cars for the show alone!!! If you are still planning to enter your car slots are filling fast, and the cut off for pre entry is strictly Thursday 22nd. There will be EXTREMELY Limited entry on the day and parking preference will be given to those that pre-register. All show cars MUST be at the venue no later than 11am.

PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO CASH OUT FACILITIES AT THE VENUE SO YOU MUST BRING CASH!!



On the entertainment front, we are

super excited to welcome on board the drive rush stunt driving team, they will be setting up their stunt jump on the day and for just $50 you can jump their car over another car, not just once but twice!! This is really a chance to get out and do something that you won't forget for a long time!

The Bikini car wash is all set to go with car colors coming on board as the official sponsor, the girls are all excited for the day, and we have a photographer ready to go, Each and every car that goes through the car wash will receive a poster of their OWN CAR!

AutoMania!

With just 3 weeks to go until the event things are heating up big time! The registrations are pouring in as is the support from sponsors! In the last few weeks we have been working flat out to bring you the best event we can possibly put together. Automania is set to be one of the premium events of this summer, The bikini car wash will be the biggest of its type in the country, with each and
every car getting its own full size poster with the girls printed!

The DB drag competition is really heating up in Auckland at the moment, the MONSTER SPL competition has been fantastic over the last few months with a lot of guys getting their setups really well tuned and breaking their own records! As far as the show goes we have confirmed some really unique vehicles to be on display for the day, from kit cars, muscle cars, drift cars to show cars there really will be something for everyone!

Hotwire will be taking care of the DB Drag racing, Fusion car audio have come on board with some bass packs and speakers as giveaways for the show and shine and the DB drag racing. Sunset tan are giving away some free tanning sessions, Rota wheels are onboard as a tradestand sponsor so you can come along and check out their wheel display, Rota are also putting up one of their Guard rolling machines as a prize for the car show!!

We welcome Dodson performance as a Champion trade stand sponsor, who will have some of their latest products on display and are also contributing towards the prizes for the car show. The car show starts at midday, so all competitors will need to arrive by 11am at the latest. We have confirmed Joe Kyle, Ciska from iced performance and we have one other mystery judge to keep all the judging completely independent and fair. We have decided to add in an ‘under construction’ section (these cars will have to be towed to qualify to enter) The categories for the show include:
